The Bunbury “Waterfront” Tour 2:00 pm-5:00 pm
Boat tour on the Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront project, Southern Ports future plans and dolphin spotting in the Bay. The Bunbury waterfront and port activation projects, funded through State Government investment, will underpin economic opportunities around the waterfront and the port. View the transformation of facilities, port related industries, tourism activation and potential investment opportunities. Boat Tour departs from and returns to the Dolphin Discovery Centre.
The Regional “Circular Economy in Action” Tour 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
This tour will explore how Aqwest’s Water Recovery Scheme is securing Bunbury’s water future by treating and distributing fit-for-purpose recycled water to irrigate public open space. This innovative project will reduce demand on the Yarragadee Aquifer and support long-term water security for the region. Bus departs from and returns to BREC.
